Kenneth Koval, M.D.
Dr. Koval has been ranked as one of America’s Top Doctors for many years. He received his M.D. degree from NYU and completed his orthopedic surgical training at Hospital for Joint Diseases in New York prior to an Orthopedic Trauma Fellowship at the University of South Florida.
Dr. Koval has published more than 150 peer-reviewed scientific articles and is considered the World’s authority on hip fractures including predictors of mortality, frequency, geographic variations, geriatric treatment, biomechanics, fixation methods, etc. He has also published scientific works about fragility fractures, geographic variations in fractures among elderly, bone grafts and bone graft substitutes, bone growth proteins and other adjuncts to improve fracture healing, outcomes related to surgical volumes, seat belt use and effects, etc.
